Electric Medway Digital Arts Festival

Sparked Echo are bringing its digital arts festival back to Medway for it's second year from 21st to 30th August. That's soon!

The ten day event - which is being held in a variety of locations and spaces - involves artwork, activities, streamed and live performances, animation, sound, projection and workshops.

"OOOH WORKSHOPS?!", you say.

Yes. And that's where I come in.

At 11am on Sunday 29th I'll be hosting a free 2 hour voice over workshop at the Community Space in Sun Pier House (Medway Street, Chatham, Kent. ME4 4HF).

Open to 14-18 year olds, we'll be going over what and where voiceover is, the art of storytelling, making emotional connections with the audience and of course… how to do a voiceover.

There'll be lots of fun activities including vocal warm ups, breath tests (not the alcoholic kind), character creation and performing, recording scripts and tricky tongue twister tests to test turbo talking techniques.

You need to bring a voice.

Oh, and there'll be lots of ridiculous face pulling and noise making.

You can find out more about the artists involved and a full programme schedule on the Electric Medway festival website.

Thanks for subscribing!
