I'm going to have a voiceover on TV?!

I've always had a vocieover career bucketlist. Ranging from the very early days with items like "get hired", to more specific goals like "get an ad on the local radio station my mum listens to".

I think it's important to have things to aim for, otherwise procrastination and floundering can seep in.

One of those goals I set, perhaps rather obviously, was "record something that goes on the telly". It wasn't something I was immediately working towards, simply due to jobs and projects taking me in other directions, but it was a goal nevertheless.

So when I had the opportunity to record an ident for... Lego... for... Le Mans... for... Eurosport, I was incredibly pleased and proud to be able to give myself a big tick on that list.

If you're in to racing, grab copious amounts of coffee and watch all 24 hours on Saturday 19th September, paying special attention to the commercial breaks. My piece is a short advertising promo (x2) for a couple of Lego Technic cars - the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 and the Porsche 911 RSR.

I've set the TiVo box to record it all. Which is silly really as it's here:

...but I still want to see it on the big screen so I can mime along.
